Giving Thanks

I hope this finds you all enjoying a blessed Thanksgiving Day Weekend. We didn’t put out an email the last two days because frankly even business needs to take a break sometimes to enjoy family and holidays.

When I was younger I even trained on holidays because I was paranoid about missing sessions, but now I only train if I have time that won’t be taken away from family and if I feel like it. Not from under feeling some pressure to do it, because it’s the hard core thing to do. I spend the rest of the year training on a regular basis and I feel like the time you spend with loved ones is more important on the days we set aside to do so. If you do train today have fun, make it a celebration of life and the fact that you can use your God-given abilities do to such a powerful thing. I also fee that celebration of the holidays while it’s a time we mark to reflect on certain things and enjoy particular things ought to be something that we carry with us all of the time.

I hope you have taken this weekend to step back and count the real blessings in your life, because many people go entirely too long without doing it. They don’t realize the simple things, health, breath, freedom, family that are around us every day, but are the ultimate blessing. Let us strive to live our lives with that attitude of love and thankfulness all of the time not just a few days of the year. Because the way we treat each other on holidays and the way we act and feel CAN be something that we feel all of the time. How much better would our world be if we all pursued the peace that we enjoy this weekend with the same vigor that we pursue all of our other less important areas of life.

Take time also today to remember those who put themselves in harms way so that we can enjoy the peace and freedom that we do. Thank you to all those serving in our military, especially those deployed in combat. Thank you to our police and firemen. Thank you to those in medicine. These jobs don’t stop on holidays. Thank you to all those who spend their life making others’ lives better. Thanks to those who grew, and shipped and prepared the food we celebrated with.

Thank you to our friends and customers without whom we wouldn’t have a place to make our contribution to the world.

Thanks mom for the turkey, dad for the guidance and grandma for the pies. Thanks to the children for the joy and the lessons. Thanks to brothers and sisters and those cousins you rarely see.

Thank you to those who began this tradition and those whom have helped build the freedom we live in. Thank you Jesus for your love and sacrifice and thank you Father-God for your continued blessings and grace on our nation and our lives.

If you spend time on our website today… thank you. We hope it is deeply helpful to you and we always hope that you purchase some of our powerful books and DVDs. It’ll take you training to a whole new place, but don’t let it be a distraction from your thankfulness and family this weekend.

Monday however, you should spend ALL day on our site… okay… just kidding.
